Preparing For An EFT Session

Here are some tips to help you prepare for your upcoming EFT Session with Jess!!

Set Aside Enough Time

Please allow either 60 or 90 minutes for your session.

After Your Session

Everyone’s experience after an EFT session is unique. You may feel lighter, clearer, or energized — or you may feel the need to slow down, go for a walk, journal, or even take a nap. All of these are normal

If possible, it’s recommended but completely optional to avoid scheduling anything demanding immediately after your session. Giving yourself a little space to allow your body, emotions, and nervous system to gently integrate the work we’ve done together.

Come As You Are — Openness & Honesty

EFT is most effective when you approach it with openness and honesty about your thoughts, feelings, and lived experiences. There is no “right” way to show up — everything you bring is welcome.

That said, if at any point you feel unsure or uncomfortable about exploring a particular topic, please let me know. This work is always collaborative. Your sense of safety and empowerment is my top priority, and we will only ever move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

In-Person Sessions

In-person EFT sessions are offered at the Deakin Business Centre in Mildura

For your session:

  • Please arrive a few minutes early to allow yourself time to settle
  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and tap easily
  • To help keep the space comfortable for everyone, please avoid strong perfumes or heavily scented products where possible

Everything you need for the session will be provided. My intention is to create a space where you can slow down, connect with yourself, and do this work feeling held and supported.

 Online Sessions

Online sessions are held via Zoom

To support a smooth and comfortable experience:

  • Please log into Zoom 5 minutes before your session to allow for any updates or technical checks
  • Use a stable internet connection where possible
  • Set your device up so your hands are free for tapping (a laptop, stand, or tripod works well)
  • Choose a quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted

Tech Recommendations

Our sessions will be conducted via Zoom. To ensure a smooth experience, please have the program up and running at least 5 minutes before your session. This will allow time for any potential updates to be downloaded and installed, preventing interruptions.

Additionally, please set up your device in a way that allows you to have your hands free during the session if you are not using a laptop or computer. A stable surface, stand, or tripod can help ensure you’re comfortable and able to participate fully without needing to hold your phone, table

A Gentle Reminder

You don’t need to prepare what to say, fix yourself, or have everything figured out before we meet. Just showing up is enough. We’ll take the session one step at a time, together.

If you have any questions or concerns before your appointment, you’re always welcome to reach out.

I’m really looking forward to working with you

— Jess
